The Celestial Cetaceans are descendants of various terrestrial whale species from Earth.
They reside mostly on the outer edge of the Milky Way galaxy throughout a large territory including dozens of solar systems.
All species are sentient and cooperate with each other in various ways. They have transplanted and engineered various ecosystems and species to support their adopted home worlds and food supplies.
Descendants of Right Whales.
Not very agile in close quarters, but possess the ability to travel through subspace. This essentially allows them to broadcast or warp themselves to far off points.
We have now observed them doing this using our deep-space telescopes.
They can grow to about 45ft long.
These are essentially the law enforcement and military for the Celestial Cetaceans.
They are comprised of mostly Celestial Cetaceans evolved from Brygmophyseter shigensis, but also have some members from most other species that exist.
A significant number of the GW and RF transmissions received by NEMO seem to be from The Brygmophyseter Corps.
Sizes range, but members of the Brygmophyseter-derived species are typically ~23ft long.
Descendants of Tohoraata raekohao.
Feeding on dust fields, comet tails, and almost any nebulous mass of matter, these creatures build up electric potential within specialized muscle fibers. The mechanism is similar to - but significantly more powerful than - that exhibited by electric eels.
They grow to 25-30ft in length.
Descendants of Orcas.
There are multiple mentions of Space Orcas involved in conflicts with Cosmic Squids and Vampira Infernalis.
They appear to be extremely aggressive.
Size is ~20-25ft long.
Descendants of Common Porpoises.
These are some of the most durable physical creatures in the known universe. They not only can withstand the energy emitted from a pulsar, but they feed off it.
Large pods form enormous communities around pulsar stars, effectively blacking them out.
Colonies are intentionally formed around every pulsar star that has the potential to impact any Celestial Cetacean territory.
Currently they are being observed traveling from their respective pulsars and moving towards a singular point in the Celestial Cetacean territory.

Cosmic counter part of a land-dwelling early whale residing on Kepler 62f.
Size is about 6ft long.
Descendants of Australodelphis mirus.
Very similar to today’s earthly Dolphins, they travel in pods and are extremely intelligent.
Depending on how they orient themselves in a group, they can utilize and/or amplify different abilities. They are very much stronger together than they are apart.
Individuals are usually about 5ft long.
