The Sentry of Chaos, created by Chaos himself, was the closest thing that Chaos had to a physical presence in the previous universe (“The Land of Nod”) during his imprisonment. Chaos was able to communicate with The Sentry from his prison, and use it to pursue his interests throughout the universe. It possessed, with limitations, some of Chaos’ power.
